Is your child stressed about returning to or starting school? Learn how to recognise the signs of school anxiety and find a gentle way to help them heal with absolutely no effort or even talking.

As a parent, I know your child’s happiness is your world, and when they are happy, you can be even happier.  It can be absolutely heartbreaking to see them worried, stressed and anxious, especially when it comes to something as important as school.  Whether they are starting school for the first time or maybe starting a new school, returning after a break, or facing a change in their education, the thought of them being stressed or anxious is a real heavy weight to carry.

The good news is that you don’t have to just wait for the feeling to pass – because it won’t just disappear. You have the power to help them, and it’s much easier than you might think.

Is Your Child Dealing With School Anxiety?

Sometimes a child's anxiety can look like something else. They might not be able to express what they're feeling, even adults struggle to know, so it can show up as physical or behavioural signs.

Here are some common signs of school anxiety to look out for:

Physical complaints: Stomach aches, headaches, or general sickness, especially on school mornings and Sunday evenings.

Increased clinginess: They might not want you to leave, or they seem unusually dependent on you.

Tantrums or irritability: They may have more outbursts or emotional meltdowns than usual.

Trouble sleeping: Difficulty falling or staying asleep, or they might have nightmares.

Withdrawal: They might be less talkative or enthusiastic about things they normally enjoy.

If you’re seeing any of these signs, it could be a clear signal that your child needs some compassionate support.

A Parent's Hope: Helping Your Child Heal With Ease

As a parent, you want to help your child feel better, but if you are like me, you might be worried that talking about it and bringing attention to the issue will just make things harder. The thought of bringing them to an appointment to discuss their feelings might cause you both more stress, and that isn’t what anyone wants.

This is where I can offer some powerful reassurance. I've had the privilege of helping 10s of children (and even more adults) easily release their anxiety without them even having to visit me or speak about anything from the past or present. This approach is completely gentle and respectful of your child's needs and provides deep and powerful healing.

A Gentle Way To Support Your Child

Take a moment and imagine your child waking up for school with a feeling of calm and peace, ready to face the day, with a smile on their face. Imagine them feeling confident and happy, excited about what the day is going to bring. This is possible, believe me. It’s a gentle process that addresses the anxiety at its root and releases it on the spot, helping your child find a more profound sense of ease.  This is not a difficult process for them (or you) either. It happens from the comfort and safety of their own home or indeed while they are in school, so no time is needed to travel, no school needs to be missed, and in fact, your child can even be in bed sleeping (like some of the clients I work with in America). All you have to do is take the first step for them.

Are You Ready To Start Their Healing Journey?

You and your child deserve to be free from the heavy burden of anxiety. It's time to start their healing journey and help them be anxiety-free. You have the power to make a profound difference in their life, giving them a gift that will last a lifetime. So when you are ready, and obviously you are right now when you are reading this post, book your appointment today and start their journey to be anxiety-free.
